Project Manager/PMO Co-ordinator Insurance Leader

Due to ongoing expansion, my client a leading Irish insurance provider are looking to hire a number of IT professionals for their Dublin based office. Among these openings is a requirement for a Project Manager/PMO Co-ordinator.

Role:
The succesful candidate willact as a support/consultancy function to assist with multiple projects and ensure that project processes are adhered to. With a PMO function being set up, you will act as a key member of the team in providing structure and support. You will report into the COO and have no direct reports.

Responsibilities:
Ensure projects delivered adhere to standard project management delivery methodologies.
Ensure all project work outputs are consistent in methodology/format and address the release scope and requirements, and where changes or re-baselines are necessary, that appropriate change control process are followed.
Review quality and health of project deliverables.
Identify and implement areas that will improve increase efficiency and productivity of the PMO.
Support COO in business planning and financial management processes.
Assist in the support and delivery of other activities with which the Operations team has been tasked, including Process Documentation and Board reporting.

Your background:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in multidisciplinary teams with at least 2 years’ experience managing projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects.
Experience of dealing with senior management / executives on a regular basis and successfully liaising with them to resolve complex business problems.
Experience in documenting and tracking project management deliverables.
Proficiency operating in recognised SDLC/Project Management frameworks such as CMMI, PMP, PRINCE or PMI
Highly motivated with willingness to champion PMO goals.

Salary: 55k plus pension, healthcare and 10% bonus (performance dependant)
Location: Dublin city centre – luas and public transport commutable
