Datapac are looking for a customer orientated service engineer to join our highly skilled Field Service Team. As a member of our Field Service team you’ll be working to resolve customer hardware break fix issues and in doing so will deliver an exceptional customer experience to a wide range of Datapac customers.
If you have an inherent passion for IT then you will learn a lot as part of our team however, some knowledge, skills and attributes are required:
• A proven track record in the delivery of ICT hardware repair services including a strong first time fix rate
• Knowledge and experience of HP laptop, desktop, printer and server repairs is preferable
• Experience in an ICT Support environment while not essential is a distinct advantage
• Networking, VOIP, Virtualization and Storage Skills while not essential are a distinct advantage
• Experience in a customer interaction role is essential
• Evidence of self directed learning and ability to demonstrate a genuine interest in ICT industry is essential
• Strong attention to detail in administration
• Excellent problem solving ability
• Business written and spoken English language skill
• Full Clean drivers licence is essential to this role
The following technical skills would be of interest to us in applying for this role and while some are essential others will give your application a distinct advantage:
• CompTIA A+ and Network + or City and Guilds Equivalent
• HP Certifications in Laptops, Desktops and Servers or similar from another manufacturer (essential)
• Microsoft – Operating Systems and/or Server (MCP)
