Deskside Support Engineer (Limerick)

[b]Level 2 Deskside Support Engineer (Limerick)[/b]
Our client, a major US multinational recently established in Ireland, requires a Level 2 Deskside Support Engineer for a 6 month rolling contract (with likelihood of permanency) position in Limerick. The successful Level 2 Deskside Support Engineer will act as a single point of contact between the customer and the US office so will need excellent communication skills. The company plans to grow from 30 to over 500 in 2014 and will double again in 2015 so this is an excellent time to become a part of what will be a rapidly expanding team of support professionals with fantastic career potential.

[b]Responsibilities [/b]
Provide Level 2 technical support
Act as point of contact for client and customer base
Perform basic system administration using Active Directory
Troubleshooting client tickets
Processes service requests using Avaya Telephony related service
Maintains accurate data for devices assigned to consultants and staff.
Perform end-user training for telecommunications equipment when necessary.

[b]Requirements[/b]
2+ years experience in a similar role supporting Desktop and Office applications
Experience of Operating Systems: Linux, Unix, Windows (Client and Server)
Active Directory & MS Exchange
Network protocols and remote access
Anti-Virus software and Malware tools
