IT SECURITY PENETRATION TESTER

ENCRIPTION IRELAND was established in 2011 in Carlow and is part of the Encription Limited Group.

Due to our success we are now looking at aggressive expansion in the Republic and need candidates, preferably experienced, [b][red]but we will consider trainees who can be part of that strategy both from a development and delivery perspective.[/b][/red]

[b][red]THE ROLE:[/b][/red]
The role involves the IT Security Testing of a Client’s nominated IT targets, which may include IT Infrastructures, mobile devices, and applications, web sites, VOIP and the social engineering of staff. Testing will be carried out both externally and internally; there will be on site client visits and testing may involve overnight stays for short periods.

The role is also one of project management, client liaison and support. All penetration testers are required to be self monitoring and self motivated.

You may be expected to undertake other roles from time to time as required by the company.

[b][red]MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES[/b][/red]
Undertaking and management of penetration testing and other IT Security assignments.

Deliver assignments securely on time within budget to client satisfaction.

Carry out all assignments in a professional manner to ensure accurate results and recommendations are produced against Encription’s testing and reporting standards.

Explanation of the output of an assignment to both technical and non-technical clients. This can be as a formal stand up presentation, written communication/report or a verbal report.

Strong inter-personal and communication skills.

Report-writing to agreed standards.

Presentation skills
Ability to balance business impact, cost and risk against technical criticality.

[b][red]REMUNERATION[/b][/red]
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful penetration testing, or will have sufficient background technical experience to become a penetration tester in an acceptable timeframe.

There are ample ground floor opportunities for the right candidate which will include team leadership and business development/management.

Salary will be dependent upon experience and background
