Currently seeking experienced database administrator for permanent position in Athlone.
Position: Database Administrator
Location: Athlone
Responsibilities:
• Managing all database functions within the organisation
• Responsible for performance tuning, back-up's and transaction log shipping.
• SQL Business reporting – Data Transformation Services (DTS), SQL Server Integration (SSIS) as well as SSRS and Sharepoint integration.
• Being an active and contributing member of the existing IT team
• Database Design
Requirements:
• Previous experience within a SQL DBA position supporting SQL Server 2008 and 2008.
• Proficient in transact SQL
• Excellent administration and troubleshooting skills
• MS Database certification is desirable
• Some experience of VB, BASH scripting, Javascript is preferable.
• Sharepoint and MS Dynamics experience.
