PE Global is looking to recruit a passionate top notch Android Developer for a Dublin based client with city centre offices!
The role
- You will work with areas including; Native Android application development (this is crucial in the role), Android API’s, 3rd party libraries, App widgets etc.
- Solutions development – Work with our development and test teams to formulate innovative technical android solutions
- Customer engagement – Liaise daily with customer to propose enhancements – as subject matter expert you will be able guide/mentor them in choosing the optimum solution
- Innovation – Explore emerging technologies through R&D initiatives from time to time.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience – A minimum of 2.5+ years experience working in native Android development is essential
- Java – A solid understanding of the core Java language and libraries, collections, generics, annotations etc.
- Scrum – Experience in Agile scrum based environment is essential
- UI – You should display a good understanding of usability principles, particularly as applied to mobile devices, attention to detail and ability to deliver a slick and polished UI.
