Our client is a long standing and highly successful IT solutions company that has been instrumental in the provision of leading IT solutions since midway through the 20th century. As part of ambitious growth plans, an exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Project Delivery Manager to join their team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a manager or team leader from a project management or implementation background to take their next step with a highly regarded and established company.

As the Project Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team of technical personnel in the implementation and deployment of complex IT infrastructure solutions.
Taking responsibility for the customer experience during the planning and implementation phases, you will formulate project plans, schedule appropriate resources and monitor and report on project progress. Your aim will be to deliver successful outcomes within agreed timeframes and cost constraints.
With typical projects running for two – six weeks and one or two fulltime staff assigned to each one, you will also oversee more complex projects which run for two – six months and have both internal and external teams contributing.
Your other duties will include:
– Scheduling resources
– Monitoring project progress and scope
– Ensuring documentation is complete and meets standards
– Facilitating handover to the Service Delivery Team for mainstream support
– Developing and refining project management processes and methodology
To be considered for this role, you must have:
– At least three years’ experience as a manager or team leader in a busy infrastructure implementation or project management role
– Microsoft Server, Virtualisation, Thin Client and Networking implementation experience
– A high degree of commercial awareness, including change management and supplier management experience
Analytical and self-motivated, as the Project Delivery Manager, you must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and a proactive, positive nature.
An ITIL Foundation qualification would be beneficial to your application. A PRINCE2 Foundation qualification would be equally beneficial to your application.
