Job Title: QA Team Lead

Roles & Responsibilities

– Lead QA Team
– Reports team status to Software Development Manager
– Research and introduce testing tools and processes to improve product quality
– Find, report, and test bugs in web and api based application
– Create automated test suites to be run by continuous integration server
– Document application functionality

Required Qualifications
————————–
– Degree in Computer Science (or similar)
– Minimum of 6 years experience within a test automation role
– Excellent technical writing skills
– Excellent verbal communication in English
– Understanding of web technologies
– Working knowledge of Selenium 2.0
– Experience developing sustainable test plans (manual and automated)

Preferred Qualifications

– Familiarity with a scripting language such as Ruby or Python
– Familiarity with Java programming
– Experience of working within an Agile environment
– Good understanding of SQL
– Knowledge of continuous integration and the tools used to implement this, such as Jenkins or Bamboo
– Good understanding of PERF/Load testing tools such as JMeter
– Comfortable working with IDE's such as Eclipse or IntelliJ
– Experience working with virtualization tools such as VMWare or VirtualBox
