Title: Software Developer Level III (BT Performance Team)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Dublin or Remote (based on current COVID situation)
We are seeking a talented Senior Member of Technical Staff who values performance optimization of enterprise applications running on cutting edge cloud computing platforms. As a member of the Business Technology Performance Engineering Team, you strive to Client ways to squeeze every ounce of performance from enterprise cloud applications. Continually find better ways to generate complex load simulations and analyze applications down to the code level for bottlenecks. Work with world class Developers to create the most innovative products in the industry. You will help deliver critical features and ensure our cloud services remain blazingly fast for our customers worldwide.
*Responsibilities:*
* Architect, design, and build new solutions for teams within client to run Self-Service Performance Testing against applications in their portfolio.
* Automate manual performance testing and other areas of toil to help streamline performance testing and analysis.
* Work with globally distributed scrum teams to understand their unique portfolio needs and craft extensible and modular templates that can be used within the testing framework.
* Take existing internal tools and repurpose them for use within Business Technology.
* Lead a team of software engineers by establishing best practices for the software delivery process and mentoring junior members of the team
*Required Skills:*
* Bachelor's Degree in STEM Discipline and (6) years of industry experience, or (8) years industry experience in lieu of a degree.
* Strong experience with one or more of the following languages (Node, Python, Java, Golang) with in-depth knowledge of REST APIs.
* Strong experience with End-to-End Testing
* Experience with Git (Github, GitLab, etc.), CICD, and Containerization (Docker, CRI-O)
*Preferred Skills:*
* SF Admin/Advanced Admin Certification ***Highly Desired***
* Experience using load generation tools (*J-Meter, Neoload, LoadRunner, Selenium*)
* Experience with Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
* *** Platform knowledge or knowledge of the *** Object Query Language (SOQL)
* Familiar with Client clustering technology (RAC, Grid, OPS), query plans, contention/locking analysis and tuning
