Windows Systems Engineer (DevOps)

This is an exciting new role with a multinational client of ours in the cyber security space in Galway. They have been rapidly expanding in the last 12 months and that's showing no sign of slowing down any time soon. This role will join their security operations and infrastructure team and work closely with 5 other DevOps engineers.

The primary focus of the role will be on Windows server admin and Azure public cloud infrastructure. My clients environment is predominantly AWS but they are gradually moving more and more of their functions to Azure with the goal of being entirely serverless in the next couple of years. Automation will also be key so strong Powershell skills are important.

There will be elements of information security involved in the role so if you've got an interest in that space and want to progress further down that path this would be a really exciting opportunity for you.

Desired Technical Skills:

* Strong Windows Server Admin skills (Experience also administering Linux servers a bonus)
* Hands on experience with Office 365 and Azure
* Strong Active Directory experience
* Strong hands on Powershell scripting skills
* Experience migrating environments and applications to Azure cloud
* Experience with Terraform, ansible and gitlab would be a huge bonus
* Excellent troubleshooting skills
