New opportunity for a Head of Cloud to join a leading Dublin based multinational. This is a career making opportunity for a Head of Cloud Operations to oversee an expanding global cloud operations team. This is Dublin based role but can be fulfilled 50/50 in-office/remote as needed

Responsibilities

·        Manage and lead a cross function expanding global team of 15-20 people

·        Help shape and define the hybrid cloud strategy and expansion for the business

·        Full ownership for the day to day Cloud Services operations for the business

·        Promote a culture of Automation and observability to improve the reliability, availably and performance of the Cloud Platform

·        Lead the operations team for all private, public, and hybrid cloud platforms

·        Work closely with senior business stockholder and external partners

Requirements

·        10+ years in Cloud operations with some exposure across all 3 main providers AWS, Azure and GCP, etc.)

·        Seasoned line manager and technical leader

·        This is a leadership position but still requires in-depth Technical background: on-prem to Cloud migrations, Cloud Compliance, Cloud Security Architecture etc.

·        Understanding of automated build, deployment CI/CD, release process etc.

·        Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
