C++ Software Engineer

I am working closely with an Irish medical devices company in Dublin City Centre who have an urgent requirement for an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join their growing team

My client is established as one of the market leaders in their field and has over 10 years of industry expertise behind them. They are looking for an experienced individual to join them and handle product architecture, high-level design and functional requirements

As part of their business, you will help develop and maintain their core application as well as get heavily involved in the full development life cycle of their new products

This role has the potential to quickly progress to a management / supervisory position and this individual will get access to all areas of their business

What are they looking for?

* Strong academic background in computer science, mathematics or physics
* 3+ years commercial C++ development experience
* Knowledge of best programming practice and familiarity with software repository tools (SVN/Git)
* Strong experience developing in a Windows environment (Linux and Mac nice to have too)
* An understanding of multithreaded programming
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Experience in Qt, Image Processing, Computer Vision and AI all very desirable
