Network Security Engineer

6- month contract based in Dublin with the option to work from home (€500-550 per day)

Our client is looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join their existing team on a 6 month contract with the potential of being extended.

DESIRED SKILLS

* Experience using network analytics / diagnostic tools
* CCNP Certification required
* Experience with Firewalls; Checkpoint; Cisco ASA
* Detailed networking protocols required (HSRP, OSPD, QoS)

THE ROLE

* Maintaining and administering networks and related environments including systems software, applications software and configurations.
* Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.
* Replace faulty network hardware components when required.
