Aspira is currently seeking a Senior Systems Analyst for a 12+12 months contract starting from late April 2021, to join us on a number of key strategic projects. 

Location: WFH under Covid, otherwise Co. Mayo.

The Systems Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Solution Architect in all aspects of project delivery, working with stakeholders including Business and Technical teams. The Systems Analyst will ensure that all project deliverables, including those provided by third parties, are of the highest standards and provide sufficient detail to ensure the successful deliver of projects.  

The Systems Analyst will also be responsible for assisting the Solution Architect in documenting the Technical landscape, including the to-be Technical Architecture. In addition, the Systems Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the document templates that are used in the delivery of projects, ensuring that they are kept up to date and any changes made are in line with industry best practices and current thinking. Furthermore, the Systems Analyst will assist the Solution Architect in defining and documenting best practices and procedures in relation to the function of the Systems Analyst role.

Responsibilities:

• Be involved in all aspects of the design of IT solutions. 
• Gain a good understanding of the business operations and systems. 
• Meet with project stakeholders to gather and translate business and technical requirements into documentation that can be understood by all stakeholders. 
• Create artefacts to support project delivery, including User Stories, documentation, diagrams, models etc. 
• Review of third-party artefacts, providing appropriate feedback to the Solution Architect or other parties. 
• Provide support to the Development and QA teams. 
• Provide support to the Solution Architect in developing and documenting the Technical Architecture. 
• Work with the Solution Architect to determine technical solutions and ensure that they meet business requirements. 
• Provide input to project and resource planning, budgeting, and implementation.  

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Systems Analyst role. 
• Experience providing support to the Solution Architect in developing and documenting the Technical Architecture for solutions being delivered as well as details of the Artefacts produced in documenting the Technical Architecture, and details of any tools used. 
• Experience gathering user requirements and translating into User Stories. 
• Experience reviewing third-party artefacts, providing appropriate feedback to the Solution Architect or other parties. 
• Experience providing support to Development and QA teams during the development and testing of solutions. 
• Experience developing project artefacts, including but not limited to, Data Dictionaries, API Guides etc. 
• Experience documenting best practices and procedures in relation to the Systems Analyst role.
