Level 3 Support Engineer
I'm working in partnership with a thriving local business who have become a European leader within their sector. They are well known for their innovation and digital maturity and are currently expanding their team with the addition of a Level 3 Support Engineer.
They are moving into the next stage of their digital transformation program and expect this to lead to a huge increase in workload. The target is to double the size of their business in the next 12 months and expect the team to require additional support.
The successful candidate will have significant responsibilities including identifying production issues , assessing customer needs, troubleshooting and deploying software patches and updates. It's important that you have a lot of experience in an AWS environment and ideally a background in Windows and Linux systems administration. Communication skills will also be key as you'll be supporting external customers and coordinating the response with multiple internal teams.
Desired Skills/Experience:
* Extensive Level 3 Technical Support experience
* Strong knowledge of AWS public cloud infrastructure
* Excellent troubleshooting skills
* Windows and Linux administration experience
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Experience deploying software updates and security patches
