SOC Engineer Dublin

We are working with a global security provider who is looking for an experienced SOC member to join their team in Dublin.
This SOC role is different from other SOC positions, as the company specialise in Network Security, Intrusion, Endpoint and SIEM/Log Management.
They are looking for someone with around 3 years of hands-on experience and someone who would be comfortable mentoring junior team members. This Role will also offer Bonus, Healthcare and Pension

Key Responsibilities:

* Troubleshooting security issues that have been escalated from Tier one operators
* Participating in Incident/Breach response investigations and deliver incident response reports and after-action reviews
* Work on various internal projects/initiatives such as UAT of new SOC tools, working cross functionally with other teams/departments as a stakeholder for the Service Delivery Organisation
* Take part in critical even reviews which will include in depth analysis
* Mentoring of junior colleagues
* Completing relevant security certifications e.g. CEH, MacAfee endpoint (paid by company)

Key Requirements:

* Degree educated in relevant Cybersecurity space
* 3 years' experience in a SOC environment
* Strong Network Security background (IDS)
* Experience in Endpoint security, Carbon Response/Threat Hunting and SIEM
* Good knowledge of Windows systems and Linux, including Bash/Python/PowerShell
* Excellent communication skills

Desirable Certifications:

* CEH
* CCNA
* CCNP
* CompTIA
