Systems Architect

This is a brand new opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing tech companies in the world. It's not just the chance to work for them, it's the chance to influence real change on some crucial projects and developments in the next stage of their EMEA growth plans.

The Systems Architect's key role will be to provide a link between the US and EMEA regions. You'll coordinate with Systems Engineering and Cloud Infrastructure teams on both sides and help to drive automation whenever and wherever possible.

The company are investing heavily in change and they need experienced architects to come in and help take this forward. You won't officially be a line manager but you'll be responsible mentoring and cultivating the skills of other engineers whilst inspiring them to come with you on the journey of technical change.

You'll need to be an excellent communicator who has a track record of driving projects forward utilising the input of multiple teams in different geographical locations. Someone who can communicate effectively with everyone from executive level right down to new junior starts in the team.

Tech Skills:

Someone at this level is likely to have strong high level knowledge across a broad range of infrastructure tech, but for the role excellent Linux experience is a must.

Alongside that you'll need in-depth knowledge of virtualization, datacentre and infrastructure automation (ansible, kubernetes etc), Internet protocols (DNS, LDAP etc) and cloud infrastructure.
