About The Role:
* Write, review and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases
* Own the testing of projects that you are involved in from requirements to production release
* Participate in project meetings to ensure that testing is built into all projects from the start
* Mentor other members of the QA team
* Work within an Agile environment, using JIRA.
* Interact with product management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
* Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases
* Maintain and expand existing testing documentation (test plans, test cases/scripts, defect reports, etc.) for product and solutions
* Analyse test results
* Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate
* Gain product knowledge on the various applications
* Participate in story estimation
* Self-motivation to continually learn and adopt the latest industry innovations and technology
* Contribute to automation where possible as the QA team identifies automation opportunities
Skills / Experience Required:
* Third level degree in Computer Science/Business etc
* 3+ years of related professional experience
* Good understanding of the full SDLC
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Excellent analytical, planning and organizational ability
* Experience of writing test cases for and testing multi-tier systems; Database, App Servers, Web and Mobile Apps (iOS & Android), designing tests to mitigate risks, and helping business experts define requirements
* Experience of working in an Agile environment
* Experience with Jira and TestRail for managing the Agile process and testing
* Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java
* Experience with Unix and SQL
* ISTQB or other software testing certifications
* Experience in cross-browser testing/issues
* Experience working with browser DevTools
