Software Engineer (Java/AWS/Scala)

Dublin or Remote

€70K - €90K p/a

We're looking for engineers to join an AI tech company in Dublin. This is a unique startup type environment where you'll develop APIs in Java, and get the chance to work on the data side with Scala primarily… data modelling/lakes, ETL etc. We need engineers who are able to cope with responsibility and own their code, this is a full circle team where you'll be writing your service and writing your own deployment scripts (AWS deployments). The team are processing hundreds of thousands of records in real time and transforming them into different formats.. all done in 200 milliseconds.

Remote working is fine, as long as you're based in Ireland.

The Person:

* Software Engineer with 4+ years' experience.
* Experienced working on distributed systems is a must.
* Specific language experience isn't a key requirement, but Java/Scala experience very helpful.
* Strong grounding on AWS.
* Enthusiastic, creative and analytical.
* A strong understanding of agile processes, design principles, best practices.
* A real interest in technical trends.
