Principal Engineer needed for one of the most exciting startups in Dublin, currently in the process of an extensive hiring phase with plans to double the workforce in 2021. They've gained huge traction globally with their SAAS offering, award winning for innovation and already boasting a number of Fortune 500 clients. We're looking for an expert problem solver who will design, architect and envisage the product roadmap whilst getting their hands dirty in code. They have over 20 engineers in Dublin, you'll be working with 4 other engineers at a similar Principal/Architect level. We need someone who is experienced throughout the entire SDLC… lots of experience working on distributed systems and deploying in the cloud.

Their stack is Kotlin, we're not specifically looking for expertise in Kotlin but we'd want someone coming from a JVM background. A generous salary is on offer and other benefits including Healthcare, Life Assurance and Equity.

Kotlin, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes

The Person:

* Seasoned Software Engineer.
* Cloud architecture design experience.
* A strong and decisive leader.
* Containers experience, Docker / Kubernetes.
* Expertise in any of Kotlin, Java, Scala, Groovy.
* Experience working on large distributed systems.
* Excellent communicator and motivator.
