AWS Database Engineer

We are working on an excellent new opening for an award-winning Network Security client who have their headquarters in Galway

Our client is a market leader in their area of network security and they have over 20 years of expertise behind them. This is a very exciting time in their journey, having secured significant funding and have continued plans to expand across all areas of their business

They are currently seeking to speak to experienced Database Engineers capable of leading the research, design and implementation of their platforms in a microservice architecture on AWS

This role can be carried out either remotely or from their office in Galway. They are offering excellent remuneration as well as a world-class working environment and great career prospects

What you need:

* Expertise in designing and building relational databases
* Experience in design and implementation of database systems in cloud - ideally AWS
* Commercial exposure to timeseries databases
* Knowledge of NoSQL or PostgreSQL
* Experience with database migrations is extremely desirable
* Ability to work well within a team in addition to working remotely
* Strong communication skills
