Build & Release Engineer (DevOps)

I'm currently working with an established multinational within the financial sector as they look to expand their Dublin based DevOps department. They have gone through a recent restructuring and as such have a brand new team to build out focusing on DevOps and automation. This will be one of the first roles hired onto the team and will give the successful candidate a lot of autonomy and influence over how the technical environment is structured moving forward.

If you're currently working in an environment where you're coming up with a lot of ideas but you're seeing them knocked back and not implemented in production then this would be the perfect role for you to move into. You'll get the chance to build a road-map for their large scale cloud migration and move to a microservice focused set-up.

It's important that the successful applicant has extensive knowledge of the build/release pipeline working with Jenkins and is also highly skilled on container orchestration, especially with Kubernetes in a production environment.

Desired skills/Experience

* Excellent experience on CI/CD pipelines working with Jenkins.
* Strong hands on experience with Docker/Kubernetes container orchestration.
* Experience supporting an AWS/Azure production environment.
* Excellent UNIX/Linux engineering background.
* A CKA certification would be a plus
