AWS DevOps Engineer

I'm currently working in partnership with one of our best known local companies as they look to expand their technical department with the addition of an AWS DevOps Engineer. Over the past couple of years they have progressed through a highly innovative cloud migration and are looking for experienced AWS engineers to continue down the path of implementing agile and resilient cloud first processes.

You'll need to have a strong background working in a 24x7 internet facing production environment to the point where you can be comfortable being the single leader for live technology support to a high traffic website. You'll be challenged with building and driving the synergies to simplify their cloud infrastructure delivery model and you'll have the chance to really influence change from your very first day.

Desired Skills/Experience:

* Extensive experience in production with AWS cloud infrastructure.
* Strong release and configuration management experience.
* Experience working in a 24x7 live production environment.
* Strong Linux engineering (some windows would be desirable too).
* Strong experience with Terraform and ansible.
* Experience in both waterfall and agile environments.
* Strong python scripting skills.
* Excellent communication skills with a great team focused track record.
