Senior Wintel Server Engineer 

Contract:   Long term Day Rate Contract
Location:   Dublin City Centre – (Mix of remote and onsite during covid-19 pandemic. More details on application)
Level:   Senior Level Experience (i.e. >7 years’ experience)
  
itContracting are currently seeking applications from experienced (7+ years) Senior Wintel Server Engineers for a position based onsite with our client to support their Wintel Server Infrastructure. 
 
 
Requirements: You should have
VMware virtualisation technologies focusing mainly on vSphere (ESXi and vCenter Server)
 
Microsoft Client / Server technologies including the following:

- Microsoft Windows Server including Active Directory Group Policy design
- Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Exchange Online
- Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)

 
Enterprise IT customisation technologies including the following:

- Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise – customised deployment and support
- Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)

 
Enterprise backup technologies including the following.

- Veeam Backup and Replication
- Veritas Backup Exec

 
Enterprise IT Security technologies, including the following:

- McAfee ePO & McAfee VirusScan Enterprise
- Cisco IronPort email & web security appliance management and policy design
- Checkpoint firewall R8x administration

 
 
In addition to the above required experiences/competencies, the following qualifications/certifications are considered desirable:

- Microsoft certification to MCSA level or further
- VMware virtualised infrastructure certification
- A qualification within a formalised model of IT service delivery, such as ITIL, or equivalent
