Principal DevOps Engineer

I'm working with an established local organisation who are thriving in the online gaming space. They are looking for a principal devops engineer to manage their Azure cloud environment and lead their release engineering and corporate IT teams.

The key element necessary for this role is the ability to design new serverless cloud environments from scratch. Alongside that you'll be tasked with bringing new ideas to the table including software defined networking and infrastructure and building a strong culture of automation.

The role is fully hands on but you will need to be able to show good examples of leadership and mentoring of more junior engineers. You'll be leading multiple teams on technical projects and need to be comfortable making high level technical decisions and pushing technical innovation across multiple departments.

Desired Skills/Experience:

* Extensive experience with design and implementation of Azure cloud environments (AWS can also be considered).
* Strong hands on experience with Terraform.
* Excellent Linux engineering skills.
* Strong Powershell scripting skills.
* Experience with MongoDB, MySQL etc.
* Experience managing and automating serverless functions.
