Multinational organisation providing FinTech solutions internally across the global organisation is seeking an experienced Linux & AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join its Infrastructure Division as it embarks on further enhancing & developing its IAAS offering.
It is essential that you have experience in both AWS cloud solutions and Linux technical expertise as an Infrastructure Engineer as the organisation is embarking on major Infrastructure Transformation Projects, as a key part of their Global IT strategy.
Your solutions will also be supporting the organisations Software Development Division and multiple Product Development / Software Engineering stream that cover applications development across .NET, Java, Salesforce and Big Data Technologies.
A knowledge of Physical, virtualised & Cloud Infrastructure environments is essential for this position.
Additionally, you should have the following experience & skillset:
* 5+ years minimum relevant experience in Infrastructure Engineering in a Linux / Unix environment
* Installation, configuration & maintenance of an enterprise environment running Linux, AWS Cloud & Networking Infrastructure solutions
* Systems Administration & support of Applications Development environments
* AWS Cloud Technologies
* Experience in working with software development teams to provide quality infrastructure solutions, identify bottlenecks & implement solutions
* Ability to analyse & improve Infrastructure Systems Recovery, Backup & Redundancy Strategies
* Implement fixes to critical Infrastructure & application issues
* Help to improve processes for the management of the enterprise computing environment
