Director of Engineering (SRE/DevOps)

This is a chance to become the technical leader in a successful multinational company where you will be responsible for major technical decisions and change. The organisation are currently heavily investing both in terms of technical innovation and people. They are looking for an experienced people manager and tech leader who can lead them on this transformation.

The successful candidate will be the leader of my clients SRE function where you will be responsible for DevOps, Data Engineering and Architecture as well as setting the technical standards for organisation as a whole. You will directly manage 15 people but you will set the technology vision and strategy of the entire technical department.

On the technical side it's important that this person will be a strong Director/VP Technology who can show a track record of migrating from on-prem to the cloud for a huge amount of legacy code and has specific experience decommissioning a monolith.
