My client, a finance company in dublin, is seeking a dynamic and experienced application support engineer. You will be providing level 2 support to clients and working within an IT support team. You will be enthusiastic about troubleshooting and problem solving.

Responsibilities:

- 2nd Level application support to clients

- Monitor systems and troubleshoot issues

- Identify and investigate trends

- Maintain all documentation regarding issues in systems

- Work in a shift pattern

Essential Criteria:

- Third Level degree in a relevant IT subject

- 5 years experience in an IT support role

- Experience in Linux and Windows environment

- Knowledge of SQL, Java and Python

- Excellent communciations skills
