A SaaS software company with a very innovative SaaS platform is going through an intense growth period. They are expanding engineering teams which focus on new build greenfield development projects. They require highly experience Senior Software Engineers with very strong back end who can also work across the full stack.
The client develops an innovative SaaS platform which will runs on computer and tablet devices. This complex platform include inbuilt payment processing modules which can process up to 2 billion transactions. The product has a global appeal and market traction and is making very exciting waves right now.
Opportunity
Recently a greenfield development team set up in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join early at the beginning as a Senior Software Engineer and put your own mark on the team. You will work with newer technologies on an advanced technical platform.Being on this team will all you to jump up to a much more senior level quickly due to fast growth of the team. The operation will 3x - 4x in size over the next 2 years so now is an ideal time to join.
As the new Dublin operation gains traction, more advanced projects working on new development and builds will be granted from the HQ, which will give you a very interesting technical challenge. It is a massive career enriching opportunity with lots and lots of growth for you on offer.

Experience/Skills
You must be a very technically strong Senior Software Engineer who has experience of taking a project through the full SDLC, and be able to contribute fully, at a senior level, to the development process with your own ideas.
- Strong Java Development experience at a senior level. Any Object Orientated language is acceptable as long as you are happy to work in a Java 8 - Java 11 stack.
- Web application development experience.
- Very strong back end experience is required as a starting point.
- Microservices
- An interest in Functional Programming is good.
- Understanding AWS or other cloud based technologies.
- Develop, design & test software through the AWS platform (or similar).
- Mobile application development tools & technologies.
- Android experience is useful.
- Use agile methodologies to deliver rapid and frequent outputs.
- Knowledge of automated test methodologies and frameworks.
- Be able to develop automated build and deployment pipelines.
- You must be extremely outcome focused and be able to demonstrate how you planned and achieved outcomes in previous projects.
- Ability to contribute to architecture and design.
Technology Stack
Is Java 8, Java 11, Kotlin, AWS Serverless, NoSQL. There is much more and there is an ethos and openness to try new technologies. Also a practical R&D element will allow interesting experimentation.
Location: Dublin City Centre. There are a few remote work days at home if you like and flexitime to suit lifestyle needs.
