Financial Project Manager – Contract
My Client is a global Financial Services provider. They are currently seeking a Financial Project Manager to join their growing Dublin team. The successful candidate will report directly to the key stakeholders in Technology, Finance and operations.
This will be a 9- 12-month contract with possibility of extension or a permanent role. You will be a self-driven and highly motivated Project Manager capable of working with Senior Executives, planning, forecasting financial projects. You should come from a large scale or have worked in a large business before as there is a Level of complexity to navigating a company / team of this size and scope. An accounting background would be beneficial but not essential, key is very string excel skills and a strong sense of self to manage projects effectively.

Responsibilities of the Financial Project Manager role:
• Work with finance, technology and global development & platform teams to drive administrative, reporting and quality improvements
• Responsibility for administrative duties in conjunction with the team, which include but are not limited to financial, staffing, quality and risk/regulatory matters
• Help coordinate contract negotiation and legal requirements and work with procurement through to contract execution
• Help provide oversight of the Business-Critical Milestone Reporting process and various other executive / client / management reporting processes.
• Imbed processes in the organization that ensure ongoing headcount is always accurate, real estate is inventoried and planned, that the on boarding and termination of resources is well controlled
• Work with the team and respective Technology leads on the communication strategy for the department
• People Strategy - work with the Technology management teams actively supporting the ICG O&T People Strategy

Required Skills and Experience for the Financial Project Manager role:
• Strong analytical skills (ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentations)
• Enterprise level experience know how to navigate a multinational and command chains.
• Must be entrepreneurial, have to ability to manage and push back on difficult stakeholders to make sure Projects achieved and on time/ budget.
• Experience using plan view or similar
• Must have excellent excel – Macro Level
• Experience with financial forecasting using historical accounting external market and economic indicators
• Individual contributor with the ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and processes
• Ability to demonstrate a good level of planning and execution of medium range and long-term strategic plans.
• Demonstrated capability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with business front office and global functions colleagues
