Automation and Control Engineer

My client, an innovative, Irish company have an urgent requirement for an Automation and Control Engineer to join their expanding R&D team in Cork

This company specialises in using advanced, market-leading automation technology which is developed in-house. My client has a challenging vision which requires new technologies to be developed, in particular control and IT technology. They provide cutting edge solutions for some of the biggest companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical and semiconductor sectors across Ireland

What you need:

* A qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or other energy related field is highly desirable
* 4+ years' commercial automation or control systems experience
* Strong knowledge of PLC / HMI / SCADA coding
* Ability to innovate and develop new approaches to complex design problems
* Experience in VB, HTML or .NET programming highly desirable
* Experience in software languages such as C/C++, Python & JavaScript desirable
