Security Response - Research Engineer

My client based in Dublin city centre has a requirement for a security response engineer on a contract basis.

Role

* Monitoring of the threat landscape and researching the impact of vulnerabilities
* Tracking events in real time
* Coordinate research teams for security responses processes
* Drive the completion for security response process activities
* Researching vulnerabilities that have been newly published and provide guidance in responding to current threats and vulnerabilities

Requirements

* Third Level degree in a technical discipline
* One or more security certification such as CISSP, CEC, GCIA
* 2+ years programming or scripting experience
* Strong understanding of security vulnerabilities, detection, exploitation and classification techniques
* Ability to manage the progress of sec incidents through response processes and track activities in a timely manner
