Role summary
As the Data Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for day-to-day information requirements, facilitating the completion of requests by managing workloads of other team members, whilst also working on key data related projects. Working with the Data Analyst Manager and Database team, you will assist with projects across the organisation gaining experience and insight into university fundraising and alumni engagement.
Key Responsibilities

As the Business Analyst, you will:
1. Support the delivery of analytical projects and assist in the provision of business insights through data mining, segmentation, dashboard development, etc;
2. Perform data capture, data list generation, data clean-up and other projects as assigned;
3. Manage the day-to-day requirements of database Raisers Edge by coordinating all data requests from staff and delivering accurate and timely information;
4. Define, put in place and manage data quality metrics and controls to monitor data quality
5. Work with teams in delivering the respective goals
6. Plan, record, measure and report on personal and team activity;
7. Undertake other duties as may be assigned from time to time by line manager.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Applicants should be educated to degree level.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar business/data analyst role.
• Demonstrated advanced Excel knowledge.
• Excellent numeric and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in other MS Office packages (Word, Access etc).
• Knowledge of Data Protection Acts and General Data Protection Regulation is desirable.
• Experience working with bespoke data systems such as Raisers Edge, Mailchimp, Smarteezie is beneficial.

• Motivated, flexible with experience of structuring workload in a busy working environment
• Strong appreciation of the business application of software and enthusiasm for learning new systems.
