We're looking for a permanent Lead Java Developer to join a Fintech in Dublin, currently in the process of re-writing their tech, replacing legacy code with Java 11 stack. This is a 100% hands-on coding role, it will involve technical leadership but no people management/leadership involved. A candidate with an architectural background would be ideal, a seasoned Software Developer who knows how to integrate REST endpoints with a Javascript layer. You'll be joining a very collaborative technical team, around 20 in total with a plan to further expand over the next 6 months. Someone who has experience developing mission critical products and possibly backend mobile applications would be a nice fit. Proven paths for progression are in place along with a generous package.

Experience

* 7+ years' experience within Java Development.
* Excellent knowledge of Spring.
* Webservices/Microservices experience.
* Experience with Angular would be a plus.
* A passionate coder with an interest in tech trends.
* Strong understanding of the full SDLC.
* Strong communicator, able to mentor junior team members.
* AWS architectural experience would be nice to have.
* Ambitious and eager to progress.
