IT Security Engineer - Contract

My client based in Dublin City Centre requires a strong IT security engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The team manages all tech related security issues across the organisation including disaster recovery, privacy and data integrity.

* Dublin
* 6 Month Daily Rate Contract

Role

* Support teams on information security related issues
* Manage 3rd party and supplier review programs and ensure that all meet minimum security standards and continiusly improve info sec stance
* Aid the planning, implementation and delivery of information security awareness and training across the organisation
* Help in the creation and rollout of infromation security polcies
* Manage penetration testing program

Responsibilities

* 5+ years experience in an info sec role or managing security controls
* Relevant security certifications e.g. CISSP, CISP, CEH, CHFI
* Cloud certs are desirable
* Knowledge and understanding of PCI-DSS, GDPR and other regulatory/legal requirements
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Security testing experience
