SOC Analyst - Contract

My client based in Dublin requires a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. You will be covering various shifts on a 24*7*365 operation providing tier 1 info sec investigate and response capabilities for security events.
Role

Utilise an array of tools, systems and feeds to monitor networks and security risks
Perform tier 1 security response for incidents or alerts
Monitor the security infrastructure system health and coordinate with teams for troubleshooting and resolution
Apply automation in order to simplify tasks
Process and route requests for security assistance and perform first contact resolutions
Adhere to runbooks and enhance documentation associated with SOC actions
Requirements

3+ years in a SOC/Security Analyst role
BSc in a related technical discipline
Experience in investigation, intrusion detection/handling, log analytics and SIEM security
Splunk experience
Willing to work on a 24/7 shift rota
Security certs such as CISSP, GCIH, Security+ are desirable
