You need to take on primary ownership for testing of certain area(s) of a system, develop in-depth knowledge of the responsible area(s). Also, conduct complex black box, system-level, functional testing, apply comprehensive knowledge of software quality concepts within the software development lifecycle.
Creating basic test plans for white box testing, applies in-depth working understanding of standards and methods to comply/enforce the standards in day to day tasking.

Requirements:

You need to hold a BSc or MSc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
5+ years of software testing experience

- Demonstrates level of knowledge by industry certification in software testing, Applies comprehensive knowledge of software testing concepts within the software development lifecycle
- Assist internal leads to perform in-depth impact analysis of the system
- Able to develop and publish reports, interpret trends and make recommendations for improvement to existing tools, Provide the effort estimation for the team
- Participate in research, selection, and implementation of new tools, drive the implementation of test plans and test strategies
- Train and mentor users on tools used, Lead test case development and peer review process (both Manual and Automated test)
- In depth understanding of a single application domain encompassing entire system, Lead outsource test case execution process and generate test reports
- Mentor others to ensure understanding with other Software Test engineers, Assist internal leads to drive Software Test deliverables to meet project schedule
- Represents Software Test organization on cross-functional product development Core Team(s), Train and mentor other testers as SME
- Leads execution of complex test cases/scripts and interprets/analyzes results to report, communicate, and work through issues with software engineers, Provide weekly status report to internal team
- Interprets product design and requirements to engineer test approach and generates test plans and test cases/scripts, Participate in design & code reviews and technical documentation reviews if needed
- Considered expert in critical areas of the system and influences project test solutions
- Leads test efforts and may coordinate the efforts of other Software Test engineers
- Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own job family
- Knowledge of systems analysis, perform in-depth analysis of the requirement and specifications to create test cases
- Skilled user of test tools for project area responsible, conduct peer technical review of the test cases to ensure test coverage
- Basic familiarity of application domain or functional areas of system, conducts complex black box, system-level, functional testing and stress/load/performance testing
- Executes complex test cases/scripts and interprets/analyzes results to report, communicate, and work through issues with software engineers, perform investigation and troubleshooting activities
- Interprets product design and requirements to engineer test approach and generates test plans and test cases/scripts, participates in design and code reviews if needed
Advantage:
- Knowledge of software quality engineering and testing methods at all levels (unit, integration, system, V&V, acceptance) applied within the Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience on Requirement/Specification analysis, test case design and development, test execution (black box and white box), and defect reporting
- Minimum one (1) year of working experience on test automation
- Working knowledge of C/C++/C#, Scripting language
- Minimum 1 year experience following FDA regulation guidelines
