C# .Net Software Developer - Dublin City Centre
I'm working with a leading provider of intelligent energy solutions based in the heart of Dublin City Centre to help them expand their C# .Net team to support exciting business growth.
If you have strong C# and general backend .Net development skills, some UI experience/understanding (even basic) and are motivated by technical challenges you're going to enjoy this role.
The role itself will support a variety of business functions so you won't be stuck doing the same thing day in day out. Due to the nature of the work (business critical, real time apps/large volume transactional apps) the role involves solving technically complex problems and you'll always be kept on your toes. The industry itself is also great to be in as it's current booming and the renewable side of it has a real "feel good" factor to it, you'll feel like you're doing something that actually matters in this role!
Requirements:
* 3+ years of C# .Net Development experience commercially
* Strong understanding of relational databases, ideally SQL Server including development and management. Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures.
* Experience with design patterns
* Understanding of REST based services and how to create them
* Some understanding of networking, VPN/APN's and Firewalls mainly
* Basic UI experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
* Experience with AWS (or another cloud technology) would be hugely beneficial
* Experience with agile (Scrum) environments
* Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
