Network Engineer - CCNA/CCNP
The Role
Our client, a very well know online company are currently looking for a talented individual to join their IT infrastructure team as a Network Engineer. You will be reporting directly to the Network Manager and will be responsible for a number of areas including the install, design and modification of the companies Network & Security Solutions.
The client are currently in a period of growth with rapid expansion in the UK, moving to new technology and implementing the latest Network & Security Systems.
Ideally you will have worked in a high availability, fast paced Network environment.
Key responsibilities of the Network Engineer:
* Network Design that requires building networks from the ground up
* Installation and configuration of Network Software & Hardware
* Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security
* Maintain network services / systems such as VPN gateways, IDS/IPS systems
* Administration of Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Proxys, patching and software deployment
As a Network Engineer you will have:
* Degree in Computer Science or an IT related field
* Ideally CCNA/CCNP or relevant years working experience
* 3-5 years experience working and troubleshooting medium to large Networks
* Expertise in routing EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS
* Proven experience with Palo Alto, Checkpoint or Cisco firewalls
* String knowledge of load balancers ideally F5
* Understanding of Servers: Windows, Linux etc
