realTime Recruitment is urgently looking for an experienced Data Engineer. This role is for a top client of ours based on the West Coast of Ireland
This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension.
This role offers an attractive daily rate (DOE).
The Role:
• Responsible for Big Data solutions(Data sourcing, Data Integration, Data preparation and production)
• Creating, Designing and maintaining Dataflows and Datamarts on a Hadoop platform using Hue, Hive and Impala
• Troubleshooting issues with existing Dataflows and Datamarts on the Hadoop platform
• Maintaining existing Powershell Automation scripts

Key Skills:
• Hadoop Platform knowledge
• 2 + years Impala & Hive experience
• HUE
• Agile working methodology
• Strong SQL
• MS Azure Analysis Services
