Become a Programme Manager with IT & Networks in Belfast for an 18 month Fixed Term Contract:

We are seeking a Programme Manager to join our team to be responsible for the planning, structuring, leading and direction of a divisional programme of work, a programme of interrelated projects or a large project with major sub-projects

To be working on a large data centre migration programme. Based in Belfast with some travel involved. Also, some home working possible.

You will also manage senior stakeholders in industry and lead strategic approaches to risk, dependencies and change

What you will do:
* Demonstrate good leadership skills and contribute to the development of processes. Ensure that a level of quality is maintained at all times across your programmes
* Plans, directs, and co-ordinates activities to manage and implement interrelated projects from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage; plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to the programme
* Leads the programme team(s) in determining business requirements and translating requirements into operational plans
* Determines, monitors, and reviews all programme economics to include programme costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, programme resources, and programme risk
* Ensures that programme is managed to realise business benefits and that programme management is informed by an awareness of current technical developments
* Accountable for the delivery of your programme

Your experience will include:
* Hands on delivery leadership experience with large scale complex programmes
* Strong experience of managing data migration programmes
* Absorbs complex technical information and communicates effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Assesses and evaluates risk. Understands the implications of new technologies.
* Demonstrates clear leadership and the ability to influence and persuade.
* Has a broad understanding of all aspects of IT and deep understanding of own specialism(s).
* Understands and communicates the role and impact of IT in the employing organisation and promotes compliance with relevant legislation.
* Has proven project management and leadership skills, and a good knowledge of business analysis
* Has strong planning, communication and presentation skills, and is proficient in project quality management
* Principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation
* Principles, methods, techniques and tools for the preparation and monitoring of budgets to minimise costs and ensure cost-effectiveness
* The effective and efficient deployment of resources, including reassessment and reallocation in a dynamic multi-project environment, to achieve optimum results
* The identification, assessment and management of project risks, which could result in time or cost over-runs, or failure to deliver products which are fit for purpose
