Operating globally, our client is an established technology firm that provides bespoke mobile staff management software. Used by some of the world’s leading engineering firms, our client’s data capture solution transforms the efficiency of customers’ field operations.
Following substantial growth, they are now looking for a PHP Developer to join them and make a significant contribution to the future direction of their core product.
As a PHP Developer, you will:
- Ensure that the product continues to operate in-line with customers’ expectations
- Work as part of a team of highly-experienced Developers
- Help to develop new features based on the product roadmap
- Work on a variety of advanced web projects for use with GIS mapping and scheduling solutions
- Integrate our client’s solution with third party systems
- Keep up-to-date with technology developments
- Occasionally work with programming languages and tech outside of your standard skill-set
To be considered as a PHP Developer, you will need:
- At least five years’ experience of PHP5 and/or 7 gained within a commercial environment
- MySQL development experience
- Previous experience in a Linux environment
- Experience in testing practices
- Excellent HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
- A passion for clean, readable code
- A degree level qualification in a technical discipline, ideally Computer Science (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Fluent English communication skills
