Purpose of the role:
My client - a well-established Managed Services provider with a specialty for Cloud/Security solutions - requires a driven and experienced Pre-Sales Engineer to be the first hire within a newly formed Pre-Sales team.
You will need to have a broad technical engineering/solutions background with good communication skills, an eagerness to grow within the role and previous experience in a similar role.
Role and responsibilities:
Be the early-stage point of contact with clients to understand the technical requirements of their business and the pain-points involved.
Use your technical understanding to design a tailored solution for the client based on their above-mentioned needs/pain points.
Work closely with internal Sales & Consultancy teams as well as Senior Management to develop processes and solutions.
Responsible for complying with all ISMS Policies and Procedures within the company and to support the it's continuous improvement process.
Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff, both internally and externally
Proficient knowledge of and experience working with: Cyber-security solutions (In a Pre-Sales capacity), Cloud technology, Microsoft/Azure, AWS
Quickly build rapport and gain client confidence on both an emotional and technical level.
Experience within MSP environment highly favourable.
A broad scope of IT/Tech knowledge
Work effectively on your own (including remote work) as well as part of a team.
Be able to follow company procedures and methods.
Available to work out of hours / weekends if necessary.
Have a proven track record in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Architecture or Technical Engineering [with a desire to move into a Pre-Sales role].
