Security Engineer - Dublin

We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join a world leading organization as a Security Engineer. The client are in a period of growth and have the potential to add 2 Security Engineers to their Security Hub.
You will be part of a Security function that operates in more than 200 countries and will be instrumental in planning, deployment and support of the IT Security projects.
As a Security Engineer you will be assisting the organization in securing their Global IT systems from emerging Security threats with the constant deployment of the most recent Security technology on the market.
You will have an excellent ability to solve complex issues regarding Security. You will be a strong communication with the ability to deal with business users across the organization.
The package on offer is probably one of the best on offer in the Irish market.
As a Security Engineer you will have:
* 3-5 years experience working in an IT environment involving systems, networking or engineering
* You will have a passion for Security with 1-2 years exposure
* Have a broad but solid understanding of Networking, Operating Systems, IPS/IDS, Firewalls, Virtualistion, End Point Protection
* Worked with some if not all: Cisco, Windows, Palo Alto, ASA, Splunk, RSA, VMWare
* Strong planning and organization skills
Although not a hard requirement it would be beneficial to have some of the below certifications. If not, there is a fantastic professional programme in place.
* CCNA, CCNP
* CISSP, CISM, CISM
* Microsoft, VMWare, Splunk, RedHat, Symantec
