IT Operations Lead
About the IT Operations Lead role:
My client provides an inventive payment technology to well established business’s. Due to quick expansion they are now operating from Ireland, UK and some European countries. They have built up a major cliental are now servicing over 1,500+ customers daily.
With the continuous growth and success of the company an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Ireland office for an IT Operations Lead to join their ever-growing team today.
The ideal candidate would need to be self-efficient, can work well as part of a team, can work well under-pressure and willing to grow within their role.
Responsibilities of the IT Operations Lead role:
• Assist in a well-known best practice IT Service Delivery function
• To look at control functions in the DEVOPS sector
• Establish an IT Change control function
• Formalising an IT Governance function.
• Carry out Desktop & Infrastructure Support.

Required Skills and Experience for the IT Operations Lead role:
• IT Cert desirable, 3rd level qualified preferred.
• A sound understanding of DevOps is required, intermediate experience/certified in DEVOPS (AWS/Azure DevOps Engineer would be preferable)
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a previous management role is essential (preferably IT or Infrastructure teams)
• Any of the following IT Platforms, Frameworks or Technologies used in a previous role would be an advantage – MS Azure and / or AWS; DEVOPS; JavaScript; Angular JS; MVC; .NET; Mongo DB; Git Hub; Rabbit MQ
• Proven documented experienced with Word, Excel, PowerPoint fluent
• Must be able to work well under-pressure, multitask, excellent problem-solving skills aswell as going that extra mile to client expectations
• Has a positive attitude and willing to get the job done to high standards?
• Strong application process workflow and problem-solving techniques
• Must have full working rights
