QA Team Lead
Role:
Our client is Ireland's largest supplier of specialised agribusiness/agritech software solutions to Dairy, Mill and Hardware/DIY Retail Sector.
They are currently looking for a QA Team Lead with Oracle.
To lead the QA processes and procedures, ensuring they are aligned to company strategy and wider international best practice. Provide leadership for the QA team on the KPI's for testing all the aspects of a software solution. This includes both functional and technical parameters, in order to meet and consistently maintain the testing standards set by the company. To provide in-depth statistical analysis with comment and recommendations to management on how the business is performing against testing parameters. Take ownership of all documentation required for test planning and best in class QA delivery. This role has excellent progression potential for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
* Execution of test plans and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected
* Ensure Release Management process and procedure is adhered to
* Ensure all test plans created are approved and adhere to best practice
* Provide the management team with in-depth stats and analysis on all testing outcomes, practices and processes. Monthly/Quarterly
* Red flag to the assistant development manager when items tested go beyond the company set normal range
* Clearly document and re-verify all defects and flag to the relevant teams
* Documentation of Release Notes, these are to be provided to the CX and DBA teams a minimum of 2 weeks ahead of release dates.
* Co-ordination of all Test points for the QA and SME Teams to ensure all points are tested thoroughly ahead of client release
* Set and co-ordinate the annual release management schedule and liaise with the DBA team to ensure this schedule is adhered to
* Expand the range of systems tested by QA
Requirements:
* 3rd Level Degree/Diploma in relevant discipline
* ISTQB Certification Required
* Minimum of 4 years testing Oracle Technologies preferably ERP
* Knowledge of Jira, Lean Sigma
* Team leading/co-ordination experience
* Excellent Communication Skills

* Project Management Certification
* Knowledge of Automated testing
