itContracting are pleased to be partnering with our client in the hiring of a Helpdesk Support Analyst. This is a permanent role based with our client in Cork.
The successful candidate will join our client's Helpdesk Support Team and will be responsible for providing technical support to our client's end user-base, supporting business-critical software, applications and systems.
This role requires the ability to understand, interpret, and troubleshoot client issues and to communicate in a clear and concise manner. We are looking for someone who has a positive, pro-active attitude, and who is excited about being part of a fast paced, growing, hard-working, vibrant, friendly, and collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
* Provide level 1 and 2 support to our client's end-user base
* Respond to end-user queries and issues in a timely manner
* Problem-solving and troubleshooting
* Assisting end-users with technical issues, maintaining communication throughout the resolution process
* Escalating issues to the relevant internal teams and liaising with external service providers
* Maintaining and updating technical documentation to facilitate knowledge and skills transfer
* Working with fellow team members to collaborate on work and suggest performance and process improvements
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years IT Support/ Helpdesk experience
* Experience working with SQL
* IT qualification
