Role: Digital Business Analyst

Rate: €400 - €450 per day

Location: South Dublin

Duration: 3 - 6 months

We have a requirement for a Digital Business Analyst to join a utility company based in South Dublin. This is a day rate contract position with an expected tenure of 3 - 6 months. The project is part of a wider digital transformation programme which aims to simplify the customer journey and enhance the organisations online presence.

The successful candidate will work with a project team and will act as the bridge between Business Operations and IT Departments. You will work closely with key stakeholders to gather, analyse and translate specific needs to produce, clear, unambiguous business requirements and functional specification documents.

Responsibilities:

* Work with development teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications to include- system requirements, flow charts, use cases, and business rules.
* Work with the business through Interview meetings and Workshops to gather and document requirements.
* Produce high quality Business Requirement Specifications, Procedures and Training Materials
* Support business transition to identify potential impacts, risk, issues, gaps to enable effective delivery of projects, programmes and change initiatives.
* Participate in the analysis and resolution of defects identified during System Build and Test Cycle.
* Liaise with developers during the technical design and implementation phases to ensure common understanding, agreement and effective implementation of projects within an MVP environment

Skills Required:

* 4+ years' experience in Business Analysis
* Experience mapping complex business processes.
* Experience in preparing and conducting requirements gathering workshops with users.
* Strong experience in User Testing, Agile and waterfall methodologies.
* Stakeholder management, Excellent communicator & interpersonal skills; ability to communicate at all levels.
* Results-driven, team player and resilient.
* Experience working within an MVP environment.
