Senior Mobile Automation Engineer
The Role
My client is a leading software consultancy working with some of Irelands largest companies in various sectors from banking, aviation, medical devices and beyond. You will have the opportunity to work on some cutting-edge projects for some of Irelands most well-established companies and gain exposure to various industries.
Responsibilities of the Senior Mobile Automation Engineer Role:
• Prepare Reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of their test scripts
• Implement automation test scripts based on best practices and coding standards
• Be a creative and proactive thinker and you will make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures
• Support the mobile automation team in from a technical perspective
• Ensure that all requirements have test cases representing all mobile platforms
• Work closely with other QA team members to automate the execution and verification of reports created by the various channels
• Ability to review product requirements, functional and design specifications to determine and prepare automated test cases
• Researches new mobile testing approaches and technologies and analyses their application to our needs
Required Skills and Experience for the Senior Mobile Automation Engineer Role:
• 5+ years’ experience across mobile applications, end to end, functional, regression testing
• Experience leading a team
• Ability to deliver under tight deadlines
• Good Java programming and design skills
• Experience working with Appium
