Software Developer - Ruby on Rails
Contract - Dublin
My client, a fast-growing life science company, are seeking a Software Developer, focusing on either Ruby on Rails or Python, to join their expanding team. This is a great time to join the company as they experience increased growth and have exciting plans in the pipeline.

The Role:
* You, as the Software Developer, will work in an agile environment to develop a range of in house systems to help the company's operations
* You will turn business requirements into code through working with Project Managers and Business Analysts
* Develop automated testing and deployment framework
* Constantly improve software and provide on-going support and maintenance of code
Experience needed for this role:
* Computer Science bachelor's degree or equivalent
* 5+ years' experience with Ruby on Rails or Python
* Experience working with cloud technology - such as AWS
* Strong and solid understanding of unit, integration and end-to-end tests as well as writing clean and testable code
* Experience with version control systems - such as Git
* Solid working knowledge of Unix/Linux tools
Brownie points for experience with:
* Automation and CI/CD pipelines
* Working in an Agile Dev Ops focused team
* Development Frameworks (such as Django and Angular.js)
